A brief history of the laboratory

The Technical Center is a structural unit of the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Construction (FADiS) of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (KRSU). The technical center was opened in accordance with the decision of the Academic Council of the University dated October 31, 2017 and the order of the rector № 41-P dated February 2, 2018 in order to increase the efficiency of use of existing equipment at the faculty for educational purposes and for conducting research work, within the framework of state budgetary and economic contract work, as well as for organizing new building materials from local raw materials on equipment purchased as part of various projects.

The Technical Center in its activities is guided by the University Charter, regulatory documents regulating educational, research and production activities and other local regulations of the university approved by the rector and the Academic Council of the university.

Since September 1, 2023, the technical center has been transformed into educational and innovation laboratories.

Main tasks and functions of the center

Effective maintenance and use of existing equipment and instruments for conducting laboratory and practical classes for undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate students of all departments of FADiS and performing research work.

Preparation and testing of laboratory models and samples of building products for laboratory classes and monitoring the condition of laboratory equipment and its maintenance.      

Organization of pilot production for the production of new building materials and products from local raw materials using purchased equipment.
