A brief history of the department

The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Pediatrics was opened by order of the rector of KRSU № 74 - paragraph dated April 29, 1996.
In 2002, it was transformed into an independent department of obstetrics and gynecology.

The department teaches the following disciplines:

• obstetrics (4th year)
• gynecology (5th year)
• production practice "Doctor's Assistant" (4th year)  

The quality of training is assessed by transfer and state exams.

The department's discipline is available for all:

• lecturing materials on all topics (55 lectures on obstetrics and 37 on gynecology)
• methodological developments for practical classes (55 in obstetrics and 37 in gynecology)
• color slides, transparencies (96 pieces for obstetrics)
• video cassettes, flip cards
• visual aids (basin, doll - 2 copies, phantom "ZOI", dummies)
• tables (30 pieces in obstetrics and gynecology)
• themed stands and study rooms
• video films (7 pcs. in obstetrics and gynecology)

The department has collected a library of textbooks, manuals, and monographs, which students use when preparing for classes and writing essays. There is an electronic library.
