Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, as an intergovernmental educational institution, places great emphasis on establishing comprehensive partnerships with various educational, scientific, and cultural institutions in both neighboring and distant countries.

International activity is one of the key priorities in the development of KRSU and is regarded as a strategically important component for expanding the university’s educational space, enhancing research activities, and strengthening intercultural cooperation.

One of the main objectives of KRSU’s international cooperation is the internationalization of education and the integration of the University into the global educational space.

International cooperation in education and science is carried out within the framework of agreements concluded between KRSU and foreign educational and research institutions and organizations.

In 2025, KRSU signed 51 cooperation agreements in education and science with universities and organizations from both neighboring and distant countries. The total number of active agreements amounts to 230, including 161 agreements with leading universities of the Russian Federation (such as Lomonosov Moscow State University, Saint Petersburg State University, MGIMO University, HSE University, Bauman Moscow State Technical University, Sechenov University, etc.), 51 agreements with institutions in CIS countries, and 17 agreements with universities from other regions.

An effective and widely developed form of cooperation is represented by academic and research exchange and internship programs. Academic mobility is a key indicator of the University’s international activity. KRSU students actively participate in competitions, Olympiads, conferences, forums, summer schools, and exchange programs at partner universities.

The “Visiting Professor” program, developed by the Office of International Relations, continues to be implemented. This program involves inviting distinguished international professors and researchers to deliver lectures, conduct seminars, and hold master classes for undergraduate and graduate students.
