We invite you to study at KRSU under the academic mobility program
Welcome to the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University! We invite students to undergo academic mobility programs, get acquainted with the rich culture and traditions of the Kyrgyz Republic, plunge into the atmosphere of student life KRSU and gain an unforgettable international experience.
Who can take part?
Students can become participants in the program partner universities KRSU, directed from their own university.
Training conditions
Training for students of partner universities is provided free of charge. The student bears the costs of accommodation, food, transportation, health insurance and other personal expenses independently.
KRSU does not have its own hostel. Foreign students are advised to take care of finding a place to stay in advance. The Department for Work with Foreign Students provides consulting support on adaptation and search for accommodation options in Bishkek.
We also recommend that you read the presentation «Life in Bishkek for a beginner», which provides step-by-step instructions for foreign students from the moment of arrival in Kyrgyzstan.
Study schedule
Autumn term: 1 September 2026 – 31 January 2027.
Spring semester: 1 February 2027 – 30 June 2027.
Deadlines for submitting applications
Nomination by the partner university:
- fall semester – May 15 to June 1;
- spring semester – from December 15 to December 30.
Submission of documents:
- fall semester – until July 1;
- spring semester – until January 15.
The deadlines may be adjusted by agreement between universities.
Language of instruction
Training at KRSU is conducted at russian language.

How to become a KRSU student for one semester?
Start by contacting the international department of your university. After receiving an official nomination from the partner university, specialists from the Department for Work with Foreign Students KRSU will help you with further paperwork and answer all questions that arise.

Procedure for submitting documents
To consider a student's candidacy, the partner university sends official letter of request addressed to the rector of KRSU with the following indication:
- student’s last name, first name and patronymic;
- specialties (training code);
- period of study under the academic mobility program.
Must be attached to the letter the following documents:
- a copy of the document on secondary complete general education;
- a copy of your passport (preferably a foreign one);
- student application addressed to the rector of KRSU;
- extract from the sending institution’s order for exchange training (to be provided upon arrival at KRSU);
- a copy of the grade book certified by the dean's office.
After receiving the full package of documents KRSU is considering admitting a student
for training under the current cooperation agreement.
After receiving the nomination, specialists from the Department for Work with Foreign Students KRSU will help you with further preparation of the necessary documents, answer questions that arise and will accompany the process of preparing for training.
Upon arrival in the Kyrgyz Republic, the student must contact the Department for Work with Foreign Students KRSU to complete the necessary documents, receive advice on the rules of stay on the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as on registration, visa support (if necessary) and adaptation to university studies.
