To a doctoral student (PhD)
In accordance with the National Strategy for Sustainable Development of the Kyrgyz Republic for 2013-2017, Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic № 733/1 dated December 12, 12 «On organizing an experiment on the development and implementation of doctoral programs (PhD)», the working group developed Temporary state requirements for universities implementing pilot doctoral programs (PhD) of postgraduate professional education.
A Provisional Regulation for the implementation of pilot doctoral programmes in postgraduate vocational education (PhD) has been drawn up. In 2022, the State Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education «KRSU» received a license from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic to implement professional educational programs for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in economics, translation and translation studies, applied mathematics and computer science.
The mission of the basic doctoral program of KRSU is aimed at developing intellectual skills, as well as meeting the needs of the local and foreign labor market for highly qualified personnel by implementing continuous multi-level education based on domestic traditions and the best world experience.
Tasks:
- Transforming PhD educational programs in accordance with global practice in training scientific personnel;
- Ensuring a quality staff of teachers and researchers working in PhD programmes;
- Providing quality training for doctoral students aimed at strengthening the research competence of students;
- Creating a favorable research environment.
