The international activities of the university are coordinated by the Office of International Relations. The Department of International Relations is working to establish and intensify cooperation with leading universities of the Russian Federation, near and far abroad countries.
The main goal of the department is progressive integration into the global educational, scientific, economic and cultural space to achieve high international standards in educational and scientific work, improve the quality of training of specialists, develop the scientific and technical potential of the university, form a system of universal value orientations in the university environment, dissemination in foreign countries of the achievements and experience of KRSU.
The management structure includes 2 departments: the department of international relations and the department for working with foreign students. Each faculty has commissioners for international cooperation.
The main activities of the Office are
- Searching for and establishing new connections with educational and scientific institutions, international organizations and foundations, embassies of foreign states accredited in the Kyrgyz Republic.
- Providing advisory and practical assistance to structural divisions of the University in the preparation of draft agreements, agreements, memorandums, protocols of intentions for cooperation with foreign universities and organizations.
- Assistance in the preparation and distribution of advertising and information products about the University (Internet sites, advertising booklets, videos, reference books, calendars, badges, flags, souvenirs with the University logo, etc.).
- Development of academic mobility of students and teachers, organization of exchange of scientific, pedagogical, scientific personnel and students.
- Providing visa support services to foreign students, scientific, pedagogical and scientific personnel traveling to study, internships, business trips abroad and coming to the University. Registration of foreign citizens in the prescribed manner, monitoring compliance with the passport and visa regime.
- Issuance of invitations and entry visas to foreign delegations and students invited by the university individually or within the framework of existing bilateral agreements.
- Organization of meetings at the university with heads of international organizations and foundations, foreign delegations. Holding international congresses, conferences, competitions, round tables, etc.
- Constant search and practical implementation of innovative methods in the development of international relations of the University.
- Organization of periodic meetings between university management and foreign students.
- Providing assistance to foreign students for their adaptation at the University and Kyrgyzstan. Organization of work on the admission of foreign citizens to study at the University and for preparatory courses on studying Russian as a foreign language.
In order to disseminate information about the university abroad, KRSU uses all opportunities for representative activities. Over the 30 years of its existence, the university has been visited by prominent government and political figures from Russia and Kyrgyzstan. The university has become a scientific, educational and cultural center for representatives of academic and creative circles from far and near abroad. Recently, representatives of all diplomatic departments, international organizations and foundations accredited in Kyrgyzstan have visited KRSU. Active representative activity is used as the most effective way to establish fruitful and long-term cooperation, which allows the university to harmoniously integrate into the global educational space.
