The college conducts educational activities for the professional training of mid-level specialists on the basis of basic general education (after grade 9), in the following specialties:
- Economics and accounting (by industry). The standard period of study is 2 years 10 months. Qualification: accountant.
- Design (by industry): Environment design, Clothing design. Standard training period is 3 years 10 months. Qualification: designer.
Obtaining secondary vocational education on the basis of basic general education is carried out with the simultaneous receipt of secondary general education.
Educational activities are carried out not only by the College teachers, but also by the University teaching staff, which makes it possible to organize the educational process in accordance with the principle of continuity.
The College has a practical training system, which, in combination with theoretical training, allows students to acquire not only knowledge, but also experience in innovative and practical activities, which is subsequently used in fulfilling the main task of providing the labor market with qualified personnel.
A Brief History of the College
KRSU College is the successor to the Frunzensky Evening College of Light Industry (FVTLP), which was created on March 15, 1954 by decision of the Council of Ministers of the Kyrgyz USSR № 437 dated March 15, 1954.
As a structural unit, the College became part of KRSU in 2006.
As a structural unit of the university, the College implements basic programs of secondary vocational education and is financed extra-budgetary from contract training funds. The activities of the College, including financial and economic, are carried out on the educational, research and production base of KRSU through accounting and its other structures.
