The main tasks of the department are as follows:
- implementation and maintenance of distance learning management systems based on University-approved platforms;
- development and support of e-learning and distance learning technologies in KRSU;
- assistance in preparing information content, teaching and training materials and filling out electronic training courses for subsequent placement on the resources of distance learning management systems;
- organizing and conducting all forms of electronic testing in the educational process for the purpose of internal, external and independent control of students’ knowledge (diagnostic, current, intermediate, final), to ensure monitoring of the quality of students’ education;
- organization and conduct of state exams, state and interdisciplinary final certification, defense of final qualifying works using distance educational technologies, digital technologies, video recording tools and proctoring systems;
- providing support to University departments, teachers and students on the digitalization of educational processes.
