Personal identifiers of scientists

The identifiers make it possible to establish an unambiguous correspondence between the author and the publication results of his scientific activities. There is no single, worldwide database of publications yet, so the identifiers for each citation database are different.

AuthorID RSCI (NEB ELIBRARY.RU) - assigned to each user (reader) profile of the NEB on the RSCI (Russian Science Citation Index) platform

SPIN code - assigned after the author has registered with the Science Index (RSCI).

ResearcherlD <TAG1> allows you to create a complete list of the author’s articles included in the Web of Science database. Assigned upon registration on the site.

ORCID ID Open Researcher and Contributor ID. The main task of creating ORCID – identification of scientists with the same first and last names, therefore each author of a scientific article is assigned his own unique number (ORCID ID). The number consists of 16 digits: for example -http://orcid.org/0000-0002-1825-0097.
Used to confirm the authorship of scientific works in SCOPUS and Web of Science.

GOOGLE SCHOLAR PROFILE - Registering with Google Scholar increases the visibility of your work in the system and allows you to receive automatic citation notifications from a very wide range of sources. This service is called «Google Scholar Citations» (briefly — GSC) or in Russian «Google Academy Bibliographic Links» or «Author Profile at Google Academy».
Google Scholar is the most extensive of all existing services. «Google Academy» indexes all university websites and university repositories, so almost all works existing on the Internet automatically fall into the GSC profile.

SOCIAL SCIENCE RESEARCH NETWORK (SSRN) - Open electronic repository of scientific articles and preprints in economic and management sciences.
Enables the author to publish his works and research results.
Registration and publication of research results is free. Each preprint and article can be posted on the author's personal SSRN page and in 12 thematic journals.
