The historical and documentary «Cosmic Phenomenon of Kyrgyzstan», created on the basis of historical evidence, reveals an important page in the history of the Kyrgyz SSR related to space exploration. Author of the exhibition – Director of the Center for Historian and Cultural Heritage Leonid Sumarokov. In 1960–1980 The republic actively participated in space projects of the USSR. Kyrgyzstan was actively training military pilots, several of whom became cosmonaut pilots. An important direction in the development of space technology was formed here – the creation of scientific instruments for space research. The developed instrument samples were effectively used on Soviet spacecraft during research of the Moon, Venus, and Mars. Instruments and other products designed and manufactured by employees of the Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz SSR and the Special Design Bureau of the Space Research Institute of the USSR Academy of Sciences allowed Soviet science to achieve outstanding success in space research. The space phenomenon of Kyrgyzstan gives it the right to consider its prospects for participation in international space programs, primarily within the EAEU.
