Features of admission to doctoral studies PhD/by profile

Information for applicants:

Training in the basic PhD/profile KRSU is carried out full-time (with elements of distance learning – distance educational technologies), on a contract basis. The standard training period is 3 years.

Areas of basic doctoral training, code, profile and assigned departments

Required documents for admission to basic doctoral studies PhD/according to the profile KRSU:

- application addressed to the head of the educational organization (for admission to the entrance examination);

- notarized copy of the higher education diploma (specialty or bachelor's + master's degree);

- certificate from the authorized state body in the field of education and science of the Kyrgyz Republic confirming the level and content of educational documents issued by foreign educational institutions;

- copy of passport.

A passport or military ID (for citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic) is presented in person upon submission of the application.

Deadlines for accepting documents and conducting entrance examinations:

Admission to basic doctoral studies PhD/no the KRSU profile is held annually from June 20 to October 10.

Entrance tests in the chosen educational direction (special subject) and English are conducted 13-27 october.

Competition for admission to basic doctoral studies PhD/for the KRSU profile, it is carried out based on the results of entrance tests in the selected educational area (special subject) and English.

Cost of paid educational services in basic PhD/profile doctoral studies for the 2026-2027 academic year

in all directions - 140 thousand som

According to clause 2 of Order 349-P dated August 6, 2025 "On the cost of paid educational services for the 2025-2026 academic year for 2-6 courses," a 50% discount in fees for all types of education has been established for KRSU employees studying at the university.

Special conditions for those who have passed the candidate minimums

In case of completing postgraduate studies and passing candidate minimums (results certified by the administration), transfer to the second year of doctoral studies is possible PhD

Procedure: after the order for admission to the first year of doctoral studies has been issued PhD/according to the profile, the applicant submits an application within 10 days to the Vice-Rector for Scientific and Innovation for transfer to the second year of study with confirmation of passing the candidate minimums.
