Features of admission to internship

Electronic registration

1. Information for applicants: who can apply, deadlines for accepting documents and registration

Acceptance of documents begins from June 23, 2025, 9:00 to July 18, 2025, 17:00!

Documents for participation in the competition for admission to the KRSU for internship programs are submitted to the admissions committee through the system electronic registration.

Graduates of an educational organization of higher professional medical education, as well as doctors and pharmacists carrying out practical activities in healthcare organizations are allowed to participate in the competition.

Admission of citizens with higher medical education to study in internship programs at the expense of budgetary funds of the Kyrgyz Republic is carried out on a competitive basis in accordance with the target admission figures, within the framework of funds allocated by the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Admission of citizens with higher medical education to targeted training for internship is carried out in agreement with the employer (local government body, local healthcare organization).

Admission of foreign citizens and stateless persons to study under internship programs at the expense of individuals and (or) legal entities under agreements on the provision of paid educational services is carried out on a competitive basis in the established Regulations on the procedure for admission, appeal, transfer and deduction for internship/residency in KRSU. order.

The list of specialties in the KRSU internship for which admission is carried out is determined by the current license for the right to conduct educational activities in the relevant educational programs.

2. Required documents for admission to internship

  • the original and a copy of the document proving his identity;
  • the original and a copy of the document on higher medical education for specialty programs and its appendix;
  • original and copy of the internship document (if available);
  • military ID (if available);
  • documents showing individual achievements (recommendations from educational and scientific organizations, recommendations from medical organizations, availability of published works, inventions, etc.);
  • personal personnel registration sheet (certified from the last place of study or work), those who have not worked for more than one year fill out a personal personnel registration sheet when submitting documents; autobiography (filled out in person);
  • when submitting an application, persons with disabilities present original documents confirming their limited health capabilities.

3. Internship training programs and entrance tests

  • General pediatrics (1 year)
  • General practitioner (1 year)
  • Pathological anatomy (1 year)
  • Emergency medical care (1 year)

The timing of the entrance exam is approved by order of the rector of the KRSU after the completion of accepting documents. All entrance tests carried out for admission to residency programs are completed no later than August 25 of the relevant year.

The exam is conducted by:

  • for budgetary (if available) and contract forms of training through interviews with KRSU graduates;
  • for graduates of other universities, admission to residency is carried out through testing.
