Round table «Returned names: on the issue of preserving the historical memory of the feat of the generation of winners»

On June 19, 2025, together with the government of the Sverdlovsk region of Russia, the center for cultural heritage historian KRSU held a round table «Returned names: on the issue of preserving the historical memory of the feat of the generation of winners». The event was attended by representatives of search clubs of the Sverdlovsk region, employees of the Archive Service under the Ministry of Informatization of the Kyrgyz Republic, heads of public organizations of Kyrgyzstan dealing with the problems of preserving historical memory, teaching staff and members of the search student group KRSU «Memory 41-45». At the round table, reports were made by the Honorary Archivist of the Russian Federation, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Lecturer of the Russian Society «Knowledge» and Ural State University Alexander Kapustin «On the experience of the Sverdlovsk region in identifying information and perpetuating the memory of those who died in evacuation hospitals of the Sverdlovsk region during the Great Patriotic War», chairman of the NGO «Kyrgyz Society of Siege Survivors of Leningrad» Marat Kutanov «About the Project “Return of the name to Kyrgyzstan» and the work to establish information about the work of evacuation hospitals in the Kyrgyz SSR during the Great Patriotic War». Deputy Chairman of the Archive Service of Kyrgyzstan Askat Nazaraliev, noting the importance of the work of search movements, confirmed his readiness to cooperate on the work of search engines and researchers with archival documents and the acceptance of identified historical documents for archival storage.
