Book transfer «Every heart beat like Brest!»

On April 28, 2025, a handover ceremony was held for Leonid Sumarokov's book «Every heart beat like Brest!» Border Service of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic. The action took place as part of events dedicated to the arrival of the Victory Relay along the external borders of the CIS on the territory of Kyrgyzstan, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The book is based on archival documents and memoirs of participants in border battles on the western border of the USSR on the day of the attack by Nazi Germany. Particular attention is paid to the feat of the Kyrgyzstanis in the defense of the Brest Fortress, their participation in the battles of the Great Patriotic War, as well as the combat service of the Kyrgyz border district. Book «Every heart beat like Brest!» will arrive at all border posts of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The event was attended by students, teachers, veteran border guards, representatives of the Border Service of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan and the Operational Border Group of Russia in the Kyrgyz Republic.
