22 June— Day of Remembrance and Sorrow

june 22, we celebrate an important and tragic date in the history of our country — Day of Remembrance and Sorrow, the day the Great Patriotic War began. On this day we remember those who stood up to defend their Motherland, who showed unprecedented courage and perseverance during the war.

Students of our university, participants in the movement «Search 41-45», under the leadership of Leonid Sumarokov, adviser to the rector of KRSU on issues of historical and cultural heritage, did a great job to preserve the memory of the exploits of our compatriots. They created documentaries dedicated to the heroes of the Great Patriotic War, among whom were many Kyrgyzstanis. These films tell about the courage, heroism and dedication of our ancestors who fought for a peaceful future.
