More than 300 Russian teachers in Kyrgyzstan have improved their professional qualifications
From March 22 to March 25, 2022, the Institute of Russian Language named after A.O. Orusbaeva KRSU in partnership with the State Institute of Russian Language named after. A.S. Pushkin (g. Moscow) and publishing house «Arkus» (G. Bishkek) within the framework of events dedicated to the Year of the Russian Language, implemented online advanced training course program «Modern standards and innovative methods of teaching the Russian language to schoolchildren» in the amount of 20 academic hours.
Ten leading scientists of the State acted as lecturers. IRYA named after. A.S. Pushkin, who are known for their deep scientific research in the field of linguistics and methods of teaching the Russian language not only in Russia, but also far beyond its borders.
Interactive lectures and master classes on various linguistic and methodological topics were conducted by the professor L.L. Vokhmina, associate Professor O.N. Khaleeva, professor N.N. Rogoznaya, Professor M.S. Milovanova, associate professor O.N. Kalenkova, professor I.A. Leshutina, professor N.A. Bozhenkova. Innovative approaches to the study of literature were highlighted by the professor N.V. Kulibina and associate professor A.V. Pashkov. Professor E.G. In his speech, Azimov examined the directions of digital transformation of modern philological education and presented to the students a broad overview of modern electronic educational resources in Russian.
Over the course of four days, Kyrgyz teachers became familiar with the most advanced achievements of Russian linguistics, became acquainted with modern methods of teaching Russian as a non-native/foreign language, and received information about Russian methodological developments and educational and methodological complexes.
More than 330 teachers of secondary schools, teachers and methodologists of universities from all regions of Kyrgyzstan took an active part in the international educational project, which aimed not only at learning, but also at establishing partnerships. The classes conducted by specialists from the Pushkin Institute had a warm response from course participants who sincerely admired the teaching skills of the lecturers and thanked their colleagues from Moscow.
The program participants addressed special gratitude to the Institute of Russian Language named after A.O. Orusbaev and the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after the first President of the Russian Federation B.N. Yeltsin. The teachers noted that the work of KRSU in the field of supporting and promoting the Russian language in the republic deserves the highest praise.
Representatives of the Kyrgyz and Russian sides expressed a common desire – to continue the successfully begun scientific and educational interaction, which contributes to the preservation of the Russian language and the formation of a single educational space of the EAEU member countries.
Conducting advanced training courses for teachers – is one of the milestone events implemented by KRSU towards the Year of the Russian Language in 2023.
