The KRSU Center for Historical and Cultural Heritage was awarded with gratitude for its work in preserving historical memory

The Center for Historical and Cultural Heritage of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, under the leadership of Leonid Sumarokov, was awarded gratitude from the historical park «Russia — My History» of the city of Novosibirsk.The center is an important platform for KRSU for the preservation and popularization of the common historical and cultural heritage of Kyrgyzstan and Russia. Its activities are aimed at developing historical education, strengthening humanitarian ties between the two countries, preserving historical memory and patriotic education of youth.The center regularly hosts scientific and educational events, lectures, exhibitions, round tables and meetings with researchers dedicated to key events in Russian history. A special place in the work is occupied by the study and popularization of Kyrgyzstan’s contribution to the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, preserving the memory of the feat of front-line soldiers and home front workers.
