Digital transformation of KRSU: results and prospects
At the site of the Federal State Institution «Sociocenter» (Moscow), an annual meeting was held with the executors of state assignments on international activities with the participation of representatives of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science. During the event, the results of the work were discussed.
During the meeting, the head of the digital development group, director of the Information Technology Center of Tyumen State University (Tyumen State University) Alexander Boyko presented a report on the implementation of the digitalization strategy of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University. In his talk, he outlined the key results achieved in 2024:
• the infrastructure base for deploying digital services has been upgraded;
• integrated cloud environment for corporate communications (mail, messenger, VKS, cloud storage) deployed;
• we conducted auditions of key stakeholders and descriptions of end-to-end business processes in order to further optimize them;
• electronic document management, personnel accounting and payroll systems have been introduced;
• a series of training webinars were conducted for various categories of users and a unified knowledge base was created to improve the digital competencies of students and employees.
Experts and management of the partner university highly appreciated the speed and quality of the project.
«In a short time, our team managed to create an infrastructure base for the deployment of digital services in KRSU, unify access to information systems, create a unified communications environment, improve the information security of systems, and optimize office work and personnel accounting processes. All solutions have been put into commercial operation and are actively used by students and employees. The effects of implementation are already noticeable», — noted Alexander Boyko.
The implementation of the digital strategy KRSU will continue, which will allow the university to strengthen its position in the international educational space and increase operational efficiency.
