Digital transformation KRSU presented at the competition «1C:Project of the Year»
The project for comprehensive digitalization of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University was presented at the international corporate automation competition «1C:Project of the Year».The project was implemented at KRSU together with Tyumen State University and the company «Large numbers» and covers key university management processes — electronic document management, personnel and accounting, payroll, student population management and educational process.Digital transformation was carried out on the basis of a single 1C technology stack with the introduction of four interrelated solutions: «1C: Document flow of a government agency», «1C: Salaries and personnel of a government agency», «1C: Accounting for Kyrgyzstan» and systems «Smart University».One of the features of the project was the need to take into account the specifics of KRSU as a university jointly run by the Russian Federation and the Kyrgyz Republic and ensure the operation of information systems taking into account the requirements of the two states.As a result, a unified digital environment has been created, which is used by about 2.5 thousand university employees. 400 workplaces have been automated, and 40 document routes have been configured in the electronic document management system. The processes of working with memos, statements, orders, contracts, procurement documentation and time sheets have been digitized.A significant amount of work was associated not only with the implementation of new systems, but also with the transfer of data accumulated by the university. About 66 thousand historical records of students and about 350 thousand statements have been transferred to the new information environment. At the same time, data normalization was carried out and information exchange was organized between various university systems.A separate area of the project — integration of digital services. In particular, the interaction of 1C solutions with the corporate infrastructure of KRSU, including Active Directory, has been implemented, individual processes for creating and managing employee accounts, and data exchange between personnel, accounting and educational systems have been automated.According to the data presented in the competitive application, the implementation of the project made it possible to reduce operational and administrative costs by 20%, labor costs of departments — by 40%, speed up the receipt of management reporting by 60%, and regulated reporting — by 40%.Comprehensive digitalization has become part of a larger transformation of KRSU's IT infrastructure.
