A delegation from Russia visited the Naryn region: KRSU and Naryn State University signed a cooperation agreement
A working trip of the Russian delegation led by the head of the Russian Presidential Administration for Interregional and Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries, Igor Maslov, has started in the Naryn region. The visit takes place as part of strengthening humanitarian and interregional cooperation between Russia and Kyrgyzstan.
Educational initiatives are emphasized. As part of the acting delegation of the rector of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University Sergei Volkov, who took part in a number of meetings and events.
At a meeting with the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of Kyrgyzstan in the Naryn region, Altynbek Ergeshev, issues of humanitarian and economic cooperation were discussed. As part of the dialogue, the region was given a certificate for opening the Eurasian Center for Russian Language and Culture in Naryn, as well as for completing a professional development program for teachers working in Russian.
The delegation laid wreaths and flowers at the monument to the heroes of the Great Patriotic War. Then a visit to the school-gymnasium №2 named after. V. Chkalov, where the school was given textbooks, teaching aids and an interactive whiteboard.
As part of the visit, the delegation visited Naryn State University named after S. Naamatov. During the meeting with Rector Tilek Isabekov, the possibilities of joint work were discussed, including the creation of a Russian language office with the support of the «Russian World» Foundation. The University was also given an exhibition of the Victory Museum «Chronicle of the War» and a collection of educational literature.
The result of the meeting was the signing of a framework agreement on cooperation between the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University and Naryn State University, which will become the basis for the further development of educational and scientific ties between universities.
Next in the plans of the visit — visit to the village of At-Bashi, where the delegation will meet with teachers of the school named after. Karybek uulu Akmataaly with Russian as the language of instruction, inspect the dairy production plant «At-Bashi Sut» and meet with a veteran of the Great Patriotic War.
The working trip of the delegation confirms the desire of Russia and Kyrgyzstan to expand humanitarian ties and jointly develop key study programs education and culture.
