A delegation of KRSU led by acting rector Sergei Volkov visited St. Petersburg
A working meeting was held in Smolny with the participation of the leadership of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (KRSU) and representatives of leading universities in St. Petersburg. The meeting was attended by representatives of St. Petersburg State University (SPbSU), St. Petersburg State Economic University (SPbSEU), St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, Northwestern Institute of Management, St. Petersburg Law Academy and St. Petersburg Pediatric Medical University.

First Deputy Chairman of the Committee on External Relations of St. Petersburg Sergei Leonidovich Markov noted the importance of humanitarian cooperation between St. Petersburg and Kyrgyzstan:
«We know that the management of KRSU is actively working to modernize the university. We are ready to share our experience, organize student and academic exchanges, and hold joint scientific seminars and conferences».
Consul General of the Kyrgyz Republic in St. Petersburg Aizhan Ishenovna Sakeeva emphasized the high reputation of KRSU:
«Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University – one of the flagship universities of Kyrgyzstan. Its high rating makes it in demand among applicants. St. Petersburg –center of classical education, and I wish KRSU success in joint projects with St. Petersburg universities».
Acting by the rector of KRSU Sergey Volkov also noted the significance of the meeting for the future of the university:

During the negotiations, we outlined a number of joint educational and scientific initiatives that will allow our students and teachers to actively participate in academic exchanges and joint projects with leading universities in Russia».
The visit of the KRSU delegation to St. Petersburg was an important step towards strengthening partnerships and developing new educational initiatives.
