Skoltech Day at KRSU
Representatives of the Russian Skoltech visited KRSU to share their experience and knowledge with Kyrgyz students. Skoltech – is a leading technological higher education institution that is engaged in scientific, research and educational activities. Skoltech Vice President for Communications, Alexey Sitnikov, presented an innovative platform that will become a bridge between educational institutions and the business community. This platform provides students and graduates with the opportunity to develop their startups and projects, as well as exchange experiences with colleagues from different countries.
Skoltech's innovation program is aimed at training a new generation of leaders in the field of science, technology and business. Cooperation with KRSU will help students gain access to the knowledge and skills necessary to develop the economy of their country. Together with 54 partners from around the world, universities will look for optimal ways to train international specialists. The main guest of the program was the professor and director of the Skoltech Center for Neuroscience, Philip Khaitovich. The scientist attracted the attention of KRSU students with his fascinating lecture. In his speech, he spoke about the brain and its evolution, as well as the psyche and its complexities. This topic is key to understanding our consciousness and behavior.
The book “Talking for Life” presented by the professor became a real treasure for students. It may contain answers to many questions about life, consciousness and science. Several copies of this book have been given to KRSU students, and this is an excellent step in enriching their knowledge and intellectual development. Such meetings and lectures contribute to the expansion of students' horizons, help them see the world from a new perspective and inspire further research and achievements. We hope that these events will be the beginning of a long and successful scientific and educational journey for many KRSU students!
