The report of KRSU associate professor Edir Surov was recognized as the best at an international conference in Seoul

The X Anniversary International Conference «The Liver Week – 2023» was held in the capital of South Korea. It was organized by the Korea Liver Study Association (KLCA), Korea Hepato-Biliary and Pancreatic Surgery Association (KAHBPS), and the Korea Liver Transplant Society (KLTS).

1093 specialists from 30 countries (USA, China, Italy, Japan, Singapore, Canada, Kyrgyzstan, etc.) took part in it. A delegation of employees of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University went from our Republic to Seoul, namely: Head of the Department of Hospital Surgery, Professor Bakhadyr Bebezov, Associate Professor Edir Surov, senior teachers of the department Erlan Murzaliev and Rezuan Marshankulov. Their participation and speech at such a representative conference did not go unnoticed.

For their reports, each of the above employees received a monetary reward for the further development of scientific activities in the amount of 1,000,000 South Korean won. E. Surov's report on liver alveococcosis aroused great interest from the Korean professors and other participants, and many questions were asked on this topic. After heated discussion, this report was recognized as the best (Best presentations Award).

During the conference, our staff managed to establish scientific contacts with researchers from leading universities (SNUH, SKKU).
