Two teams KRSU — «Leaders of KRSU» and «Elim» — are taking part in the Russian Language World Championship for Foreigners—2025

Two teams KRSU — «Leaders of KRSU» and «Elim» — are taking part in the World Championship in Russian for foreigners— 2025. Participation in the debates opens up the opportunity for students to reach the 1/8 finals and compete for the title of the strongest Russian-speaking speakers in the world.

The team «Leaders KRSU», consisting of second-year medical students, plays for India in the division «Asia and Oceania». The training of participants is led by senior lecturer of the Department of Russian Philology Z. M. Guseinova.

The team «Elim» became the only representative of Kyrgyzstan to make it to the 1/16 finals among 264 teams from neighboring countries. Now students adequately represent the country at the international stage of the championship. The team's mentor is senior lecturer of the Department of Russian Philology O.P. Ulybysheva.

The World Russian Language Championship for foreigners is held with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation. This year, more than 2,000 teams took part in it, eight of which represented the Department of Russian Philology KRSU.
