EdNet experts assessed the educational programs of KRSU

The Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University has completed the procedure for national program accreditation, which was carried out by the expert commission of the Agency for Quality Assurance in Education EdNet. Over the course of three days, experts assessed ten educational programs of the university — from bachelor's degree to PhD level.The accreditation included programs in architecture, architectural environment design, economics, law, translation and translation studies, forensic science, applied mathematics and computer science, philosophy, public health and medicine, and physical processes of mining and oil and gas production.As part of the examination, the commission held more than 20 meetings with university management, teachers, students, graduates and employers. Experts assessed the curricula, the provision of disciplines with educational and methodological materials, the publication activity of teachers, the participation of students in scientific activities and the level of digitalization of the educational process.Special attention was paid to the material and technical base. The Commission visited specialized laboratories, computer labs, specialized classrooms, a library and the electronic educational environment of the university. The audit analyzed internal quality control mechanisms, interaction with employers and practical training of students.Completion of program accreditation allows you to confirm the compliance of educational programs with national quality standards and increase the competitiveness of graduates in the labor market.Following the visit, EdNet experts noted the high level of involvement of the university’s structural divisions in the processes of ensuring the quality of education, as well as the openness of the academic community and the university’s readiness for the further development of educational programs.
