Extrability: a new philosophy of inclusion in KRSU

Today, in the main building of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, a master class «Extrability as a phenomenon of inclusive culture» was held, which was conducted by the president of the ANO «White Cane». The event was attended by teachers and students interested in issues of inclusive education and social adaptation of people with disabilities.

Speaker President of ANO «WHITE CANE» Oleg Kolpashchikov spoke in detail about the concept of extrability – an approach that focuses not on limitations, but on the unique capabilities of each person. Participants learned how this principle helps to rethink traditional attitudes towards inclusion and what methods can be applied in educational settings to unlock the potential of students with special needs.

During the meeting, special attention was paid to practical cases and real stories of people for whom inclusion became not just an opportunity for adaptation, but a tool for personal and professional growth. The speaker shared examples of successful educational programs implemented in different countries, and also presented new approaches that can be introduced into the educational process of KRSU.
