The chief neonatologist of the Russian Federation visited the construction site of the KRSU Medical Center
A new stage in the development of the medical field in KRSU: a delegation led by the Chief Neonatologist of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, Rector of the St. Petersburg State Pediatric Medical University, Dmitry Ivanov, visited the construction of the KRSU Medical Center.
Construction of a modern center, which will include not only the educational building and a dormitory for medical students, but also a place for providing high-quality medical care to the population – this is a priority task for the university. The KRSU medical center, according to the meeting participants, will become a symbol of new healthcare standards.
«It will not be just a building, it will be a place where life-saving assistance will be provided. We are proud to participate in this project and are ready to support it at all stages», - Dmitry Ivanov shared his opinion.
Rector of KRSU Denis Fomin-Nilov presented the project for the construction of a new campus: «We see a huge need for modern medical infrastructure. The new medical center will become a key element in the development of medical education and healthcare at our university; it will meet all international standards. This will be a whole innovative complex, including modern clinical sites, diagnostic centers, operating units, as well as research laboratories».
The head of the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund, Artem Novikov, was also present at the meeting. He also expressed interest in supporting the project to build a medical center. In addition, a delegation of leading specialists in the field of medicine will hold negotiations with the leadership of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, and will also visit a number of public and private medical institutions. It is planned that Dmitry Ivanov will share his experience and advanced technologies with his colleagues from Kyrgyzstan. The meetings will be the main one for further cooperation.
