Acting of the rector of KRSU takes part in the International Public and Business Forum «Eurasia — territory of traditional values»
Acting Rector of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University Sergei Volkov takes part in the International Public and Business Forum «Eurasia — Territory of Traditional Values», held at the National Center «Russia».
The forum is dedicated to the anniversary of the organization «Eurasia». In honor of this date, friends and like-minded people were gathered to discuss how to continue strengthening traditional values in the Eurasian space.
The event brought together more than 600 participants — government officials, ministers, businessmen, leaders of education, culture, media and public organizations from different countries. Among the participants are — Chairman of the Council of the ANO «Eurasia» Alena Arshinova, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Konstantin Mogilevsky, as well as Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic Albert Makhmetkulov. Their presence emphasizes the importance of dialogue in the field of humanitarian and educational cooperation in the Eurasian space.
During the forum, Konstantin Mogilevsky noted the special role of Slavic universities as humanitarian bridges between countries:
«We have four so-called Slavic universities — Russian-Armenian University, Russian-Tajik Slavic University, Belarusian-Russian University and Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University. These are not only places where students study and receive two diplomas at once — of the Russian type and the country where the university is located. This is the territory of the Russian language, Russian culture. At the same time, universities are focused on benefiting the country where they operate. That's the idea. These are such bridges between our countries, between our peoples. The intelligentsia works here, people who are close to our ideas and who find like-minded people here».
"Our countries are currently faced with global modern threats and challenges, such as climate change and the need to ensure environmental safety," the deputy minister noted. — These problems require urgent joint action. As part of our cooperation between the countries, student exchange programs are being actively implemented, primarily with Russia and Kazakhstan, and we see the need to expand these programs with other countries. In the near future, 9 Russian schools will be built in Kyrgyzstan, and the development of the infrastructure of the Boris Yeltsin Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University will continue. We are confident that this will serve as a catalyst for the implementation of many useful educational and social projects in the future», added Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic Albert Makhmetkulov.
The forum program includes panel discussions, expert sessions and open debates. Key topics — preservation of the cultural code of Eurasian countries, protection of historical truth, development of Eurasian media partnerships and technological sovereignty.
Sergey Volkov took part in the plenary session «Unity of the educational process of Eurasia», where he discussed with colleagues the prospects for integrating educational systems and the development of joint projects.
On behalf of KRSU, Sergei Volkov also sent congratulations on the anniversary of the organization «Eurasia», noting its contribution to the consolidation of humanitarian, cultural and educational initiatives throughout the Eurasian space.
