Interview with Aminat Gordaeva, graduate of secondary school KRSU and winner of the highest result at ORT 2024
Aminat Gordaeva, a graduate of the secondary school of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (secondary school KRSU), scored the highest result at the 2024 All-Republican Testing (ORT) — 234 points. She kindly agreed to answer our questions about her preparation, her studies and her plans for the future.
1. Aminat, how did you manage to achieve such high results on ORT?
"I don't think there's any secret, there was nothing supernatural about my preparation. In my opinion, the main thing — is to set a goal and then build steps towards achieving it! Perhaps I was lucky that I took ORT at lunchtime, not in the morning, so I was able to get a good night's sleep. To be honest, I didn’t even expect such a good result. My goal initially was simply to get a gold ORT certificate by scoring as many points as was minimally necessary.'
2. How important was studying at secondary school KRSU in your success?
"Of course, our school is one of the strongest in the country, so studying at secondary school KRSU certainly helped me achieve my goal."
3. Which teacher would you especially like to thank?
"Among the teachers, first of all, I would like to thank the class teacher, teacher of Russian language and literature Vera Ilyinichna, Rabia Ilyasovna, mathematics teacher, and Olga Trofimovna, logic teacher. They gave us an excellent base from which it was much easier to prepare for ORT. I also cannot help but mention the teachers of the educational center «School Club», who helped structure knowledge, delve into the exam format and gain extensive experience in performing complex trial tests."
4. What are your plans for the future, and why did you choose this particular profession?
"Choosing a profession – is an important and very important stage in the life of every person. It determines our future and greatly influences self-realization and success. I would like to connect my life with the economy, as I am confident that my choice not only meets my interests and goals, but will also help contribute to the development of business and society as a whole."
5. What advice would you give to future applicants who are about to take ORT?
"I would like to wish all schoolchildren who will take ORT in the future good health, necessary for successful preparation, perseverance, self-confidence, a bright and interesting graduation year!"
