Results of the competition «My Yesenin»

from May 7 to June 2, 2025 Provate essay competition «My Yesenin», dedicated to the 130th anniversary of the poet’s birth (1895-1925).

The main goals and objectives of the competition: supporting interest in the work of S.A. Yesenin among schoolchildren in Kyrgyzstan; identification of talented youth; attracting attention to Russian poetry and the richness of the Russian language; strengthening the spiritual and moral foundations of the younger generation; promoting creative self-expression; increasing the interest of the younger generation in reading classical fiction; developing interest in the essay genre among young people.

Inviting you to participate in the competitionfox students of grades 8-10 of secondary schools with Kyrgyz and Uzbek and russian languages of instruction in the Kyrgyz Republic.

Contestants storyali about Yesenin’s favorite works, about how they got acquainted with the work of S.A. Yesenin; thoughtyali, why Yesenin’s poetry is close to the modern reader; as a memory of S.A. Yesenin remains in Kyrgyzstan.

We received it for the competition 269 unique applications and withonly inspiring works from talented schoolchildren from all over the country. Their texts — are a living response to the work of the great Russian poet, filled with feelings, reflections and deep love for words.

June 5 at KRSU as part of the round table «Anniversaries of our days. The life and work of great writers – A.S. Pushkin, A.P. Chekhov, S.A. Yesenin, Ch.T. Aitmatov» passed award ceremony the winners of the competition «My Yesenin», who were awarded certificates for a trip to Moscow, and letters of gratitude to their teachers and mentors.
