Results of the video competition «Satire in 60 seconds»

Institute of Russian Language named after. A. Orusbaev Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after. B. N. Yeltsin (IRYA KRSU) held a Republican video competition «Satire in 60 seconds», dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the birth of Mikhail Evgrafovich Saltykov-Shchedrin (1826 – 1889), from March 18 to May 10, 2026.The competition was organized as part of the popularization of classical literature, the development of media creativity and the formation of critical thinking among schoolchildren.The aims and objectives of the competition are– to draw the attention of students to the work of M. E. Saltykov-Shchedrin;– develop skills in interpreting literary works through modern media formats;– stimulate the creative activity of adolescents;– promote the formation of a reading culture and the ability to identify socially significant problems.Schoolchildren of grades 5–11 from all regions of the Kyrgyz Republic were invited to participate.Each participant or creative team (up to 6 people) could present one video work.Students of grades 5–11 of secondary schools with Russian and Kyrgyz languages of instruction in Batken, Issyk-Kul, Osh, Jalal-Abad, Naryn, Talas, Chui regions and Bishkek took part in the competition.The winners were participants whose works corresponded to the theme of the competition; contained original ideas and a creative solution, understanding of the spirit of Saltykov-Shchedrin satire, expressiveness, quality of script and video shooting, and had an emotional and artistic impact.The competition program gave students the opportunity not only to reveal their creative potential, but also emphasized the importance of the Russian language and literature in our lives.Grade I winners: Ariet Dykhanbaev, Chyngyz Parpiev, Minazhidin Momunov, Ariet Nazarov – 10th grade students of secondary school № 17 named after. Absamata Masalieva, Kadamzhai, Batken region; Ayupov Sardor, Zarylbekov Hafiz, Rybyanov Anton, Saidarmatov Rizvan –8th grade students of secondary school № 9 named after. Doskulu uulu Sart Ake, Karakol, Issyk-Kul region.Khasanova Farida Kamilovna, Adambekova Aida Asankulovna, Supiev Nikolay Dzhamalovich, Narynbaeva Dilyaram Muslimovna – teachers of Russian language and literature who prepared students for the performance.Grade II winners: Abdilazizova Guliera, Maksatbekova Sofia – 10th grade students of secondary school № 2 named after. 50th anniversary of Kyrgyzstan, Kyzyl-Kiya, Batken region; Zhumaev Muhammad, Ysmanova Sumaya, Musaeva Sumaya, Abdimalikova Aizhan, Avasov Nurel, Musaeva Karina – 10th grade students of secondary school named after. Zhoomarta Bokonbaeva, Batken, Batken region.Creative groups were prepared by teachers – Olga Alexandrovna Martyanova, Laili Akhmatovna Yusupova, teachers of Russian language and literature.Grade III winners: Raeva Bermet Ruslanovna, Mukhamedova Fatima Ulanovna – 11th grade students, p. Tepke, Ak-Suu District, Issyk-Kul Oblast; Mannapova Asema, Mavlyanova Nurkyz, Nurzhanova Aisezim, Abdibalieva Saikal, Ryskulova Keremet – students of secondary school №1, Razzakov, Batken region.Dzhunsayeva Aigul Valievna, Burkhanova Taalaikhan Mustafayevna –teachers of Russian language and literature who prepared students for the performance.
