The IX International Congress on Immunology was held in Bishkek

On March 2, 2025, the IX International Congress on Immunology was held at the National Center for Maternal and Child Welfare. The event was organized by KRSU named after. B.N. Yeltsin, Association of Epidemiologists and Immunologists of the Kyrgyz Republic and NCOMiD.

The theme of the congress is — «Immunology and immunoprophylaxis: challenges, achievements and prospects». Participants discussed issues of clinical immunology, allergology and adaptology, monitoring of infectious diseases, vaccine prevention and antibiotic resistance.

Leading scholars from Russia and Kyrgyzstan spoke at the congress, among whom Professors N.S. Tataurshchikova, I.V. Nesterova, M.E. Asheraliev, B.T. Orozbekova, Z.Sh. Nurmatov, A.A. Zurdinova, V.S. Toigombaeva, M.K. Baltabaev, T.T. Abdyldaev and others.

As part of the event, a republican Olympiad among medical university students was held. All participants received certificates with credit hours. A decision was made to expand cooperation between Kyrgyz and Russian specialists in the field of clinical immunology and conduct joint scientific research.
