Campus of the future: a new stage in the development of KRSU is fixed at the state level

President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin signed a law ratifying an agreement with the Kyrgyz Republic providing for the construction of a new campus of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University.The agreement was concluded in Bishkek on November 26, 2025 and defines the key conditions for the implementation of the project. In accordance with the agreements, the Russian side will undertake the design, construction of the campus and its equipment.The Kyrgyz Republic, in turn, will ensure the allocation of a land plot with an area of at least 30 hectares with subsequent transfer to the university on the right of permanent free use. Funding is also provided for the design and construction of engineering infrastructure up to the boundaries of the site.It is expected that the implementation of the project and the modernization of the existing infrastructure will increase the number of university students to 15 thousand people.The document emphasizes that ratification of the agreement corresponds to the objectives of Russia’s humanitarian policy abroad, including strengthening the position of Russian education and expanding cooperation in the scientific and educational sphere.
