China in Central Asia and Greater Eurasia

A round table was held at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University on the topic «China in Central Asia and Greater Eurasia». The event was organized by participants of the School for Central Asia, the Institute of Strategic Analysis and Forecast at KRSU and the Far Eastern Federal University.

The speakers were young researchers, experts and scientists from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia.

During the event, experts shared their vision of current trends related to China’s implementation of its foreign policy strategies. We discussed issues facing the leading world powers in the context of strengthening their presence in Central Asia.

Particular attention was paid to the concept «Greater Eurasia» and forecasts were put forward regarding the prospects for further transformation of the world political architecture.

The event became an important platform for the exchange of views and ideas on issues of regional security and cooperation in Central Asia and Greater Eurasia. It also highlighted the role of the academic community in shaping public dialogue and understanding of key issues in international relations.
