For Victory Day: a big concert was held at KRSU «Let's bow to those great years!»
On April 30, a concert took place at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University «Let us bow to those great years!». Its participants honored the memory of everyone who fought against fascism during the Great Patriotic War and confirmed their loyalty to the traditions of the generation of Winners.
Gray-haired teachers noted after the concert that they had not seen such an emotional spectacle for a long time. The mood of the audience was created by the orchestra of the Ministry of Defense of the Kyrgyz Republic, which performed wartime marches on the square in front of the main building of the university. The concert, which began with a bright musical and choreographic composition performed by students of the Youth Center for Culture and Creativity KRSU, poems and songs of the war years, military stories of front-line teachers, which sounded inspiredly and sensually from the stage from the lips of students, caused not only applause, but also tears.
It is noteworthy that among those who raised the intensity in the hall were Indian students who proudly hung an orange and black ribbon on their chests – the symbol of Victory recorded on the medal «For victory over Germany». The concert hosts said – Indian soldiers bravely fought German troops and Japanese militarists during World War II.
A special atmosphere at the concert was created by the photo gallery of the participants in the battle with the brown plague. At the university they called it «Immortal Regiment KRSU». The basis of the gallery shown on the screen were historical photographs and stories of university teachers and students about their relatives and friends who fought at the fronts and worked in the rear during the Great Patriotic War.
The importance of the last concert and the spirit that reigned at it was noted by the vice-rector of the university Leonid Sumarokov, who read his poems:

From Marshal of Victory to privates in trench dust.
In their native land they drew spirit and strength
Her sons were returned to her and she was given blood to drink.
People's memory to you, as an honest reckoning
For the feat of the Soviet soldier who won the war.
She will force her sons to unite in that war
To mother – the earth blossoms to the souls be reborn!
