The KRSU team flew to the summer media intensive of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation
As part of cooperation between Slavic universities in Armenia, Tajikistan, the Republic of Belarus and the Kyrgyz Republic, a summer media intensive was organized at the Faculty of Journalism of Moscow State University (MSU).
The event brought together students and representatives from the following universities:
Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University;
Russian-Tajik (Slavic) University;
Russian-Armenian University;
Belarusian-Russian University.
The main goal of media intensity – provide participants with the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of journalism, show their talents in this field and gain valuable experience and knowledge about media.
The intensive program includes lectures and master classes from leading Russian media experts, which will allow participants to learn about the latest trends and approaches in journalism. There are also excursions to museums and media holdings in Russia, which will give students a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the work of large media organizations.
The organizers of the media intensive are committed to creating a friendly and productive atmosphere where participants can exchange experiences and knowledge, as well as strengthen ties between Slavic universities.
It is important to note that the media intensive takes place on the basis of the Faculty of Journalism of Moscow State University, which is famous for its prestige and the quality of training specialists in the field of journalism. Participants of the event will plunge into the unique atmosphere of this historical place, which is often associated with the famous Hogwarts – the school of magic from the works of J. K. Rowling.
Joint media intensity is becoming not only an opportunity to get acquainted with the professional aspects of journalism, but also an excellent platform for the further development of international cooperation and cultural exchange between universities.

We took a couple of comments from the participants. Nadezhda Abramova shared: «Gaining new knowledge is always an invaluable experience. Students and teachers from different countries share their skills and abilities. The lectures are very interesting and rich. I hope that through media intensity, I will learn a lot of new and useful things that will help me in the future in my profession».
Arina Chernyshova reported: «We have passed the first day of media intensity. It all started with a tour of the journalism department of Moscow State University. To be honest, it met all my expectations; for me it seemed like a kind of temple of knowledge. Next, we were given a lecture on digital journalism. It was read to us by the dean of the journalism department, Elena Vartanova. And the icing on the cake was a tour of the media holding «Russia Today»! We were taken to several editorial offices, such as Sputnik. We saw from the inside how journalists work, and it was very interesting to watch how their workplaces were decorated. In addition to the Russian edition, we were shown an edition in English and told about the history of the media holding. I realized that there is no ceiling and we can strive higher and higher in our profession. I thank the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation for organizing this kind of event. This is a great option to meet students from other countries and gain new knowledge».
