As part of the events dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan, a roadmap for the development of cooperation between the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University and the Academy of Sciences of Tatarstan was signed in Kazan.

The document was signed by the rector of KRSU Sergey Volkov and the President of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan Rifkat Minnikhanov.

The signing took place during the visit of the rector of KRSU to Tatarstan, where he also took part in the meeting of Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov with representatives of the scientific communities of Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Belarus and other countries.

The document provides for joint work in several scientific and technological areas.

One of them is environmental management and environmental protection. Scientists from KRSU and the Academy of Sciences of Tatarstan will conduct a comparative analysis of the legislation of Kyrgyzstan and Russia in the field of subsoil use and land use, and will also study approaches to organizing environmental monitoring and assessment of the state of the environment.

A separate area is the development of green technologies. The parties will take part in the development of the concept «Green Technology Corridor» for the countries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. The work will include studying the regulatory framework of Kyrgyzstan, Russia and other SCO states, as well as preparing proposals for improving legislative regulation of the use of green technologies.

Another block of cooperation is related to the development of new composite, ceramic and building materials. It is planned to conduct joint research, develop scientific and technological developments and prepare projects with the participation of industrial enterprises. Particular attention will be paid to obtaining practical research results and developing interdisciplinary interaction.

The roadmap also provides for a panel session to be held in May 2027 at KRSU as part of the Congress of Young Scientists «Sputnik». It will become an additional platform for discussing joint scientific initiatives and exchanging research experience.

The implementation of the roadmap will allow us to combine the scientific competencies of KRSU and the Academy of Sciences of Tatarstan, expand the participation of researchers in joint projects and strengthen Russian-Kyrgyz cooperation in the field of science and technology.
