KRSU and Lanzhou University (PRC) discussed new areas of cooperation
A meeting was held at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University with a delegation from one of the leading universities in China — Lanzhou University. The visit was an important step towards expanding academic and scientific ties between universities.
The delegation included:

professor Li Fan, Dean of the Faculty of Philology;

professor Yang Jianjun, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Philology;

professor Peng Lanjia;

professor Zhang Jin.
During the negotiations, the parties discussed a wide range of study programs cooperation: participation of students and teachers in research conferences, conducting advanced training courses, implementing academic exchanges and double degree programs using the model 2+2. Special attention was paid to the possibilities of studying in a master's program in the direction «Chinese language and literature» and the creation of joint master's programs and humanitarian projects.
Representatives of Lanzhou University noted the active development of the tourism sector in Kyrgyzstan, which opens up new prospects for joint research and educational initiatives in the field of humanities and international cooperation.
Following the meeting, the parties exchanged proposals that will be submitted to the management of both universities for further consideration. The visit of the Lanzhou University delegation was another confirmation of KRSU’s interest in strengthening partnerships with Chinese universities and developing international educational programs.
