KRSU modernizes the educational buildings and sports infrastructure for the new school year
KRSU is modernizing educational buildings and sports infrastructure for the new academic year. The Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (KRSU) is carrying out a comprehensive modernization of educational buildings and sports infrastructure in preparation for the new academic year. The progress of repair work and improvement of facilities was checked by the rector of KRSU Sergei Volkov during a working tour.
Particular attention is paid to the educational buildings of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Technology and the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Construction (FADiS), where large-scale infrastructure renovation projects are being implemented.
At the site of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Technology, they discussed the overhaul of the multifunctional sports ground, for which an auction has already been announced, replacing windows, updating the facade, repairing classrooms and sanitary facilities, as well as preparing a specialized hall for sambo classes. In addition, comprehensive landscaping is provided, including the creation of recreation areas for students, pedestrian paths, sanitary pruning of green spaces and cleaning of the surrounding area. The possibility of installing a dome structure over the sports ground is being considered, which will allow the facility to be used all year round.
In the FADiS building, the rector checked the progress of the overhaul of the third floor, where work is already underway, and discussed the upcoming renovation of the first and second floors, staircases, the façade of the building and landscaping of the territory. Also among the upcoming projects are the commissioning of the circuit and the creation of a mother and child room.
A separate issue was the modernization of the security system. Starting from the new academic year, turnstiles will be installed in all educational buildings of KRSU and a unified electronic access system will be introduced, which will provide modern access control. Based on the results of the tour, Sergei Volkov instructed to complete the repair work on time, ensure high-quality preparation of the buildings training facilities and landscaping before the start of the new school year. A comprehensive infrastructure update is aimed at creating modern, comfortable and safe conditions for student training and teachers.
