KRSU could become the capital of the Russian IT festival RuCode
Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after B.N. Yeltsin claims to be the capital of RuCode, the largest All-Russian festival on artificial intelligence and algorithmic programming. The Academic Council of KRSU supported the application to hold the festival at the university.
The shortlist, along with KRSU, included the Scientific and Technological University «Sirius», Nizhny Novgorod State University named after N.I. Lobachevsky, Tyumen Industrial University and Far Eastern Federal University. In the near future, a consortium of organizers will determine the university that will host key festival events in 2025.
RuCode brings together thousands of participants from all over Russia: schoolchildren, students and IT specialists. The festival's capital will host training camps on algorithmic programming, a championship, an artificial intelligence conference, popular science master classes and the festival's super final in October 2025.
Artem Belyaev, who will oversee this area, noted the importance of participation in RuCode for the further development of students and scientific research in the field of information technology.

Our students demonstrate a consistently high level of knowledge from year to year and take prizes in various IT competitions. This is what gives us the right to become the capital of such a large-scale IT festival as RuCode».
