KRSU at the international forum «Eurasian Gate»
On November 21–23, the III International Immersive Forum «Eurasian Gate» was held in Chelyabinsk — a major platform for dialogue between Russia, the countries of Central Asia and Europe. The event brought together more than 150 participants from Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Spain.
The forum was organized by Chelyabinsk State University and is aimed at developing international cooperation in the fields of ecology, economics, media communications, education, culture and business.
Its task is to unite experts, scientists, government officials, NGOs and youth initiatives to find joint solutions to current challenges.
The forum was held in five thematic sections:
• «The Way of the Word» — media and information policy
• «The path of bread» — culture and interethnic dialogue
• «Path of the Stars» — education and scientific connections
• «The Way of Water» — ecology and sustainable development
• «The Silk Road» — entrepreneurship and economics
Participants got acquainted with the cultural heritage of the region: the forum presented exhibitions of traditional household items, national costumes, folklore and cuisine — a symbol of the connection between peoples and common values.
The Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University was represented by the chief specialist of the press service, Zhyldyzbek Ibraliev, who made a report in the section «Path of the Word» «Information confrontation of the West: contexts for Russia and Kyrgyzstan».
KRSU's participation in such international discussion platforms strengthens ties between countries, strengthens the integration agenda and expands the capabilities of the university community in the scientific and media sphere.
