KRSU has opened applications for the competition of student startup projects

Students of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University will be able to turn their own ideas into full-fledged startups. The university has started accepting applications for a competition of student projects, the winners of which will have the opportunity to undergo an acceleration program with the participation of Russian and Kyrgyz experts, and the best teams will receive cash prizes. You can submit your application until July 8th.Students of all levels of study - bachelor's, specialty, master's, graduate, residency and other educational programs - can participate in the competition.No ready-made business project is required to participate. At the first stage, it is enough to present the name and idea of the future project. Participants will be able to finalize the concept, prepare a business plan and implementation plan as part of the acceleration program.Applications can be submitted either individually or as part of a team of one to five people. The scientific supervisor is not a mandatory participant in the project, but his participation will help strengthen the idea and qualitatively prepare the project for defense. Any representative of the teaching staff of KRSU can become a scientific supervisor.Teams that successfully pass the competitive selection will go to summer school «Growth Point» in July, which will be held in a health boarding house «Zhashtyk» on Issyk-Kul. During the program, participants will work with mentors, receive expert feedback and develop their ideas to the level of ready-made startup projects.The training will be held with the participation of experts from St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, Sechenov University, as well as leading specialists from Kyrgyzstan in the field of startups and entrepreneurship.Based on the results of the competition, the winners will receive cash prizes:1st place - 200,000 soms;2nd place - 140,000 soms;3rd place - 80,000 soms.To participate, you must register on the platform https://startup.infinityfree.me/, create a personal account, download and fill out the application form, upload it to the system and fill out information about the project.
