KRSU restored the monument to A.S. Pushkin

On the eve of the 226th anniversary of the birth of Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin, the monument to the great poet in Bishkek was updated. Restoration work was carried out with the financial support of an entrepreneur from Yekaterinburg, Ivan Dubrovin, owner of a foundry «Dubrovin».

This is the second monument restored with the participation of KRSU over the past six months. Previously, the university together with I. Dubrovin and the Foundation «Central Asia Capital» checked the first stage of work on the restoration of the monument to the Hero of the Soviet Union, Major General Ivan Panfilov — commander of the legendary 316th Infantry Division, which became famous in the battles near Moscow. As part of the work, a new bronze information plaque was installed on the monument, and the monument was completely cleaned, professionally repatinated and protected with wax.

These projects highlight the important humanitarian mission of KRSU in preserving the historical and cultural heritage and memory of outstanding personalities who contributed to the common history of Kyrgyzstan and Russia.
