KRSU rose to 901–950th place in the QS ranking and became the second university in Kyrgyzstan

Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University has improved its position in one of the most authoritative international higher education rankings — QS World University Rankings 2027.According to the results of the new ranking, KRSU entered the group of 901–950 best universities in the world, immediately rising one rating group compared to last year, when the university occupied positions in the range of 1001–1200.Among higher educational institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic, KRSU took second place in the QS World University Rankings 2027, strengthening its position among the leading universities in the country.The ranking also included the American University in Central Asia (801–850), the Kyrgyz-Turkish University «Manas» (1001–1200), the Kyrgyz National University named after J. Balasagyn (1201–1400) and the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakova (1401+).The QS World University Rankings is one of the most influential world university rankings. When forming the ranking, the academic reputation of the university, the demand for graduates among employers, research activities, the level of internationalization, the citation rate of scientific publications, international cooperation and indicators of sustainable development are taken into account.The key drivers of KRSU growth in the ranking were indicators reflecting the quality of specialist training and learning conditions. The university demonstrated the most noticeable progress in terms of the demand for graduates among employers (Employment Outcomes), rising from 486th to 309th place in the world.The Faculty Student Ratio was also highly praised, ranking KRSU 37th in the world. This indicates a high level of accessibility of teachers and the opportunity for more individual work with students.In addition, the university entered the international benchmarks for attracting foreign students, ranking 379th in the world, and also demonstrated results in terms of sustainable development indicators and the share of foreign teachers.The improvement of KRSU's position in the global ranking was the result of systematic work to develop educational programs, expand international cooperation, increase scientific activity and create modern conditions for student education.Today KRSU is implementing joint educational programs with leading universities in Russia, developing academic mobility, expanding its partnership network with major employers and implementing a large-scale project to build a new campus designed for 15 thousand students.The inclusion of KRSU among the 950 best universities in the world and the strengthening of its position in the QS ranking confirm the high level of training of specialists, the international competitiveness of the university and its significant role in the development of higher education in Kyrgyzstan.
