KRSU has been granted a plot of land for the construction of a new campus

On June 12, Russia Day, a plot of land was transferred to the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University for the construction of a new university campus. The site is located in the village of Baytik, Alamudun district, Chui region, and is intended to create a modern educational complex for the university.The transfer of the land plot opens up the opportunity to move on to the practical implementation of the project to create a modern educational complex KRSU. According to cadastral documents, the area of the site is 299,700 square meters, or almost 30 hectares.The project will be the largest infrastructure project in the history of KRSU and will create a modern educational environment for the education of up to 15 thousand students. On the campus it is planned to build educational buildings, dormitories, scientific and educational centers, sports facilities and all the necessary social and engineering infrastructure.It is symbolic that the transfer of the land plot took place on June 12 — Russia Day. For KRSU, which has been a unique example of educational and scientific cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Russia for more than 30 years, this step became another confirmation of the strategic nature of the partnership between the two states in the field of education.The creation of the campus will be an important contribution to the development of the higher education system of Kyrgyzstan, will expand opportunities for training highly qualified specialists and strengthen the position of KRSU as one of the leading universities in the region.
