KRSU presented the experience of introducing artificial intelligence into education at the World Public Assembly

On September 18–19, the Second World Public Assembly «New World: Values that Unite» was held in Moscow, at the World Trade Center. The international platform brought together representatives of education, science, culture, public organizations and the expert community to discuss issues of international cooperation and public diplomacy.KRSU was represented at the Assembly by Nikolai Kudryavtsev, Advisor to the Rector, Special Representative of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation. He spoke at a strategic session of representatives of universities - partners of the Assembly of Peoples of the World «Modern educational technologies - a strategic resource of the new world order».In his speech, Nikolay Kudryavtsev presented the practical experience of KRSU in introducing artificial intelligence into educational processes. At the university, AI is considered not as a separate tool, but as a technology that is consistently integrated into the creation and maintenance of a digital course - from the discipline’s work program and structure formation to content preparation, production and placement of materials in LMS.One of the solutions presented was «Course Factory» KRSU. The system works on the basis of the approved work program of the discipline: analyzes the initial data, structures it and forms the framework of the future digital course. At the same time, the substantive examination and the final decision remain with the teacher.A further vector of development was also presented - the use of AI directly within the digital educational environment. Possible scenarios include an AI co-teacher to accompany students, an AI assistant teacher to work with typical questions, and predictive educational data analytics.The key principle of the KRSU approach is AI that helps and speeds up processes, and the person remains responsible for the content, methodology and quality of the educational result. Thus, the university is moving from using individual AI tools to their systematic integration into educational processes.The Second World Public Assembly was organized by the International Union of Non-Governmental Organizations «Assembly of the Peoples of the World». For two days, its programme included strategy and panel sessions, international forums and expert discussions focusing on education and science, culture, new technologies, public diplomacy and international cooperation.
