KRSU invites you to a master's degree in nuclear medicine: training based on leading universities and research centers

The Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University opens enrollment in the master's program in the field of «Nuclear Medicine (Medical Physics)» — one of the most promising educational programs at the intersection of medicine, physics and high technology. The program is being implemented jointly with Tomsk Polytechnic University and is focused on training new generation specialists in the field of healthcare, medical diagnostics and radiation therapy.Training follows a network model: for the first three semesters, master's students master the educational program at Tomsk Polytechnic University, and the final semester — at KRSU. This format allows you to gain knowledge and practical skills at two leading universities at once, combining the best educational and scientific resources of Russia and Kyrgyzstan.Particular attention is paid to practical training in the program. Master's students study modern methods of radionuclide and X-ray diagnostics, planning radiation therapy, the use of radiopharmaceuticals, and also participate in scientific research using a unique research infrastructure, including an operating nuclear research reactor, a cyclotron and modern radiation therapy equipment.Teachers from KRSU and Tomsk Polytechnic University, as well as leading specialists from the Siberian State Medical University, the Oncology Research Institute of the Tomsk National Research Medical Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Tomsk Regional Oncology Dispensary and the Oncology Center of Kyrgyzstan are involved in the educational process.Graduates of bachelor's and specialty degrees in the areas of «Physics», «Engineering» and other related specialties can enter the master's program. Entrance tests are conducted in the format of online interviews according to the Tomsk Polytechnic University program.Budget places are provided for KRSU graduates, which makes training in one of the most high-tech study programs of modern medicine even more accessible.
