KRSU participated in a working meeting on updating the Climate Change Training Programme

A working meeting was held at the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision of the Kyrgyz Republic to discuss updating the Climate Change Training Program. The event from the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (KRSU) was attended by the head of the department of ecology and protection in emergency situations, candidate of technical sciences, associate professor Eric Mambetov.

The discussion was attended by members of the Inter-Agency Working Group (IWG) established to implement the project «Strengthening Climate Action: A Holistic Approach to Capacity Building and Public Awareness for Low Carbon and Climate Sustainable Development». The project was approved by order of the Minister of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision of the Kyrgyz Republic dated October 23, 2024 № 323-p.

The agenda of the meeting included a discussion of effective methods and approaches to training and awareness-raising on climate change issues.
