KRSU participated in the meeting of basic CIS organizations on university humanitarian cooperation

Leonid Sumarokov, Candidate of Historical Sciences and head of the Center for Historical and Cultural Heritage of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, took part in a meeting of basic CIS organizations in the areas of university humanitarian cooperation and Slavic universities in the CIS countries. The topic of the meeting was «Current areas of cooperation to preserve the foundations and strengthen the unified humanitarian space of the Commonwealth of Independent States».

The agenda of the meeting included issues of deepening interaction between universities in the CIS countries in the field of humanitarian education, strengthening cultural ties and exchanging experience between universities. Particular attention was paid to the role of Slavic universities in maintaining a common educational and cultural space in the post-Soviet space.

During the discussion, participants noted the importance of joint programs and projects aimed at preserving and developing historical and cultural heritage, as well as supporting academic cooperation between CIS universities.
