KRSU took part in the country conference of Russian compatriots dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory

The Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University took part in the country conference of Russian compatriots dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The event was attended by representatives of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Kyrgyzstan, deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh, the Assembly of Peoples of Kyrgyzstan and other officials.

Evgeniy Shekunov, Vice-Rector for International, Scientific and Innovation Activities of KRSU, delivered a welcoming speech at the conference. He noted the importance of preserving historical memory and strengthening friendly ties between the peoples of Russia and Kyrgyzstan.

The conference became a platform for discussing issues of patriotic education, cultural cooperation and support for Russian compatriots in Kyrgyzstan. Participants noted the importance of such meetings for preserving the historical truth and passing on the memory of the Great Victory to future generations.
